Writers, Planners, Trainers (WPT) Incorporated was founded in March 2003 as a not-for-profit corporation in the State of Illinois. The agency is governed by a five-member Board of Officers and is proudly African American–led. WPT is deeply rooted in serving the East St. Louis metropolitan area and surrounding communities, with a strong commitment to community development and empowerment.

Our mission is to advocate, educate, and provide prevention, care, and supportive services to marginalized populations in the East St. Louis metropolitan area who are most at risk for HIV/AIDS, STIs, and related health disparities.

Writers, Planners, Trainers Inc. (WPT) is a not-for-profit organization in the State of Illinois operating as a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation. Governed by a five-member Board of Officers, WPT brings extensive experience in delivering comprehensive HIV prevention initiatives, linkage-to-care services, group prevention and support programs, and referral-based substance abuse and mental health services. The agency is committed to eliminating disparities and ensuring 100 percent access to quality services for all clients.
